Jupiter moves to the sign of Cancer, where it is exalted, on June 1st. Jupiter is like the cosmic sea. Cancer is ruled by the moon who governs the tides. Together they invite us to an experience of ourselves, of life, that is tidal, rhythmic, flowing, oceanic even. You are being invited to a greater vision of what life is, and a greater sense of what you belong to. But, it being watery, there may also be big emotions, heart surges, deep longing. Jupiter in Cancer is not about ascending to avoid. Jupiter demands truth as a portal to freedom. ✨ Your body is mostly water. Ride its waves, swim in its depths. Cultivate Ojas and you will have everything you need to receive its gifts, and live this with grace.✨ A beautiful way to align with this energy is through poetic contemplation. Read the poetic excerpts above and ask yourself how does this feel in my bones? What would it feel like to live this every day? When I stare at the ocean, what do I feel? When I stare at the night sky, what do I feel? What is that inner knowing within me? How do I access it more fully? How can I live more and more from that place? ✨ “Enlightenment is when a wave realizes it is the ocean” is pure Jupiter. ✨ Read my previous post on Jupiter’s upcoming transit for more info, including ways to invite this energy in. Rumi understood what this transit offers. That fullness. That trust. That oceanic knowing.@nayyirah_waheed and @butterfliesrising get it too. I hope you receive the wisdom, growth, ocean presence and blessings.🪐✨#jupiterexalts #exaltedjupiter #jupitertransit #iginspo #igpoetry ... See MoreSee Less

Feel like you’ve been swimming upstream? On June 1st, Jupiter, the planet of wisdom, growth, expansion, higher awareness, moves to exaltation in Cancer. In Jyotish, the Vedic sidereal system, when a planet reaches exaltation, it’s offering its purest, most potent energy. This can bring a certain flow, a sense that the current is finally turning.Cancer is a water sign, emotional, intuitive, nurturing. Jupiter here nurtures your internal knowing, your self-trust, your belief in possibility. It gives a certain ease, a feeling of being supported, a sense that life can be generous. A few simple ways to welcome Jupiter’s gifts ~ 🌕 Jupiter’s color is yellowWear it. Surround yourself with it. Yellow is warm, enlivening, the color of sunlight. Studies have shown that yellow encourages learning. It is an enlightening color.🧭 Jupiter’s direction is NortheastFace northeast when you meditate, pray, or sit quietly with yourself. If you can, put something meaningful in the northeast corner of your home — a plant, a candle, a picture of a teacher, a Jupiter Yantra, something that feels sacred to you.🌊 Spend time near water when you can. A walk by the ocean, a long bath, anything that brings you into a sense of gentle flow. Cancer governs the tides. As a gaseous planet, Jupiter is motion. This transit invites you to that healing, life-affirming state of flow. 👩‍🍳Feed yourself and others. Cook with turmeric, yellow dal, golden milk. Jupiter in Cancer wants to nourish - with food, but also emotionally and spiritually.🌻 Spend time on Thursdays, Jupiter’s day, doing something that feels holy, uplifting or expansive. Give something away. Learn something. Call a person who inspires you. Thank your teachers. Extend your meditation or prayers.🍃 If you’ve been sitting on something you want to grow — a project, a practice, a relationship, a new direction — this is a good time to begin.Starting June 1st, life should begin to feel a little more supported. In fact, I am already feeling it. Are you? If you feel that in your body, that full-body Yes, that sense that life loves you, let yourself trust that. And let’s hope it brings peace 💛__#jupiterexalted ... See MoreSee Less
